Dear radio amateurs! In the face of today’s realities, as well as due to the changes in the body of the Organizing Committee, there’s a need to revamp the contest. In this regard we’ve made a decision to initiate the necessary procedures. It is especially important for us, starting this year, to bring “CQ-M” up to a new level, to establish high standards in terms of organization and judging, as well as to attract the maximum of participants from Russia and other countries.
Moreover, it’s especially important now to unite the efforts of all the parties who are rather interested in amateur Radio – Regional Departments of the Soyuz Radiolyubiteley Rossii, clubs, radio amateur organizations and individual radio amateurs.
“CQ-M” is rightfully considered an asset of the national amateur Radio and the honor of the Russian contesting and only by joint efforts can we give the contest an even more authoritative status in the Russian Federation and internationally in this difficult time.

We welcome all participants of this test! Yes, this contest is good! I, as the head of the school radio station, prepare the next team for this test every year! By participating in the test, the guys work out the skills and abilities of operational work on the air. Back in the 80s, we took third place in this test. And in 1995 they received a gold medal for the first place! To involve the youth, it seems to me that it is necessary to introduce a new class. This is the junior class. Well, the credit time for them to reduce ...
Thanks for the reminder about the contest. By the way, I was lucky to take part in the first CQ-M test in 1957 in the category of radio observers (I received a diploma signed by E.T. Krenkel). Since 1958 he participated in these competitions in different years under his call signs UB5TN, UU2JA and since 2014 R7KA (of course, not in all years). Of course, I will try to work in this contest. I wish you and your loved ones all the best and hope to see you on the air. 73!
CQ-M is a great test, I personally love it, but for me it's kind of enchanted. No matter what I planned, no matter how I prepared, I never managed to work it out completely. And this year was no exception. I went to the dacha, got ready ... And after 22.15 Moscow time, the electricity was turned off in our SNT. Lost a few hours. And 1.5 hours before the end, the transceiver began to turn off at the time of transmission. This already happened a few years ago just the same in CQ-M. The connector that plugs in the power supply is loose again ...
